The Candidate: The Project Manager of Product Engineering & I.T will function as an integral member of the product
engineering team that is building the VOZIQ platform, a breakthrough Analytics platform that can process billions of
data records using a cluster of Cloud Infrastructure instances. We believe that small, empowered, self-motivated
teams can do big things.
This role will play a crucial role for planning, executing and closing projects, ensuring that they are delivered on-time,
within scope and on budget. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to define
project objectives, create project plans and oversee the project lifecycle from initiation to closure.
Key responsibilities:
•Project Planning: Define project scope, objectives and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans, schedules
and budgets, identify and allocate resources and create a comprehensive project charter.
•Team Leadership: Assemble & lead project teams which includes Product architects, developers, and other
professionals. Provide clear direction, set expectations and motivate team members to achieve project goals.
•Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage risks
throughout the project lifecycle to ensure successful project delivery.
•Timeline Management: Track project progress against established timelines, identify bottlenecks and implement
strategies to keep the project on schedule.
•Change Management: Handle project scope changes effectively by assessing impacts, obtaining approvals and
adjusting project plans as necessary.
•Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, minutes of
meeting, and other project related documents.
•Closure & Evaluation: Conduct post-project evaluations to assess project success and identify areas for
improvement. Ensure that all project documentation and deliverables are properly achieved.
Qualifications:
▪Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
▪Proven experience as a Product Engineering / IT Project Manager with a track record of successfully managing
complex projects.
▪Project Management certification – PMP, CAPM etc., is a plus.
▪Strong understanding of IT Systems, Software Product Development and technology trends.
▪Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical
stakeholders.
▪Proficient in project management tools and software.
▪Ability to deliver effectively under pressure projects and meet deadlines.
